Programmer Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented junior programmer to join our education team. You will be the producer and keeper of clear, concise code, and ensure that our programs function in a flawless and efficient manner. You must be consistent in your process, communicate effectively, work well with others, and finish projects on time.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, troubleshoot and maintain existing software applications, tools and subsystems
- Participate in the design and development of new software applications using modern technologies
- Collaborate with team members and users to determine programming objectives
- Create ad-hoc reports and SQL queries based on user requirements
- Provide technical documentation for software processes
- Stay abreast of industry trends and new relevant programming technologies
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Preferred 2+ years of programming experience
- Understanding and application of SOLID design principles and software best practices
- Understanding of data structures
- Proficiency with SQL and database technologies
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Experience with at least one web application framework, such as ASP.NET MVC, PHP, Vue.js, Angular, React, etc.
- Experience with Git version control
- Strong desire to learn and apply new technologies
- High level of initiative with ability to self-manage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual and bi-literate in Spanish preferred.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $54,300-$75,900
