Food Service Assistant

3.75 hours per day/182 days to work


QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
  2. Must be able to obtain a Food Handlers Card upon date of hire.
  3. Knowledge of methods and ability to prepare main dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts, and other foods; work with recipe portion counts; basic kitchen utensils and equipment.
  4. Ability to supervise student helpers if required, handle money.
  5. Maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees and ability to get along well with students.
  6. Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.   

 

 

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $15.22-$21.99 per hour. Dependent on experience/education.
